Our Hot Tub Lodge holidays are second to none and once you’ve stayed with us for a hot tub holiday you will want to return time and time again. Enjoy a small holiday home for two for a romantic holiday away from it all, or come along with family and friends in one of our larger hot tub holiday lodges. A hot tub holiday is a relaxing holiday with that extra touch of luxury, ensuring holiday memories are made to last.
Imagine staying in a beautiful area where you can explore during the day, then relax in your hot tub and star gaze in the evening? Northumberland has it all and more from stunning beaches, castles, market towns and the Cheviots for those who love hill climbing. Add in horse riding, kite surfing, mountain biking, there is something for everyone and at the end of the day your hot tub is waiting for you to relax and unwind.
What should I expect from a hot tub holiday?
You should expect that your hot tub has been dropped, cleaned and refilled before your stay and that it is checked daily. This should be done by a qualified engineer who have full knowledge of the water supplied to your holiday home and is able to keep the chemical balance safe for your use.
Is there anything that I need to do to the hot tub during my holiday rental?
No, you should never be asked to do anything to the hot tub. It is the holiday home owner’s responsibility to ensure that it is checked daily and maintained to a high standard so that you are able to relax on your hot tub holiday knowing you are being cared for. You should not play with the controls on your hot tub, as you may inadvertently put it into sleep mode, which means it will cool down and not heat up again, or lock it which generally means heat and jets don’t work. If in doubt always ask and you will be sure enjoy the full hot tub holiday experience.
How long Can I use the hot tub whilst staying in my holiday rental?
You should limit the time you stay in your hot tub to allow it to actively work through it’s cleaning cycles. Most Hot Tub Holiday providers set the hot tubs to 38.5 or 40 degrees which is standard. So that you get the most from your hot tub accommodation you should avoid wearing fake tan – this can discolour the water, have a shower before and after use and don’t use glass around or whilst in the hot tub. This is all for your own safety.
Should I be given instructions on what is safe use of my holiday rental hot tub?
Most holiday companies will provide you with a disclaimer for your hot tub, to adhere to during your lodge holiday. This will provide you with all of the information you need to keep you, your friends and family safe. There should also be safety instructions around the hot tub or in the lodge explaining how to use it during your hot tub holiday and what is expected during your stay.
