Jessie's Corner backs into a lovely wooded area on Felmoor, which is a beautiful park in the heart of Northumberland and lies centrally between Morpeth and Alnwick. ?There is also a bar and restaurant on-site, The Crazy Horse Saloon.
The closest beach provides you with miles and miles of golden sand where your dogs can run free too and is just about 15 mins drive.
The Home of Harry Potter is just up the road, in Alnwick Castle and you have other fabulous castles to explore along the coast including Bamburgh, Dunstanburgh, Chillingham, Warkworth and many others.
There are villages that will delight and surprise you and gorgeous pubs, restaurants and cafes where you can enjoy some true Northumbrian hospitality.
There are lots of activities such as horse-riding, golf, cinemas, theatres, swimming pools and much much more for the whole family to enjoy.
Northumberland is a beautiful county and one that you will want to visit over and over again.

We stayed at Jessie's Corner last week for a 4 night stay (half term school holidays).Overall it was an enjoyable stay with a mixture of good points and things that could be improved on. Things to improve on; hot tub cleanliness. We only used the hot tub once which was disappointing, mainly because we do not believe the hot tub had been drained and cleaned before we arrived for our stay. The seats once we were in the hot tub felt 'slimy' and there were dirt/residue bubbles made by the jets. We noticed the water was treated only once during our stay. It rained solidly for a couple of days which resulted in us not using it, but it should have been properly cleaned and ready for use throughout. The outdoor cushions for the outdoor seating were very wet/damp on arrival and not all of them were in the outside storage for use- some are hiding in the cupboard in the main bedroom - we didn't notice this until our last day and there was no information in the information folder. Information folder; Whilst informative on some aspects in the lodge i.e. the hot tub were provided, it did not have information how to operate things like the boiler (if that was needed), the dishwasher and/or oven. There was no information on the local vicinity i.e. a park map, where the children's playgrounds were, where to go if we needed bread or milk, take aways that would deliver to the park, local walks etc etc. There were some out of date leaflets on external attractions provided in the cupboard draws but nothing on the park itself. The decking could benefit from additional mats to prevent slipping as it rained for quite a few days and there were only two mats for the entire length of the walkway. It became quite slippery. There is no entertainment nor activities to do on site. There doesn't seem to be any venues/restaurants within walking distance. We would not recommend the Crazy Horse Saloon which is on site (not operated by Hemera, but there is no alternative and potential guests should be made aware). It is very poor and nothing like what it claims to be' good food and good atmosphere' on the advertisement boards in the park! There was no entertainment. It doesn't provide a full menu (lunch menu only when we tried it at 6.30pm- basically sandwiches and chips!). It doesn't open throughout the day, no breakfasts etc- but no notices to advise of this! The 'arcade' section for children is appalling- smelt of damp, empty glasses, crisps packets, rubbish all over, hardly any of the entertainment games were operational and you couldn't get any change from the bar even if you wanted to chance it by playing something. They operated a card only bar. The restaurant itself was dirty, holes in the seating, cobwebs on the windows etc Jessie's Corner was suitable for the duration of our stay, however attention needs to be paid to cleaning aspect- we found dirty cutlery, crockery and oven trays. We had to wash some items for use soon after arrival. In the ensuite, there were a family of spiders across numerous cobwebs- we named their leader Bertina as she was massive and our son wanted her as a pet! The shower tray had discoloured stains. On arrival there were hairs on the shower walls. There were marks on the walls throughout the property - looked like dirty water had run down them (?!) as they were rust coloured. There were a few black marks and a couple of chips/holes on some walls. There were mattress protectors on the beds, but no pillow protectors and a couple of the duvets had marks on (we noticed this when we took off the covers at the end of our stay). The water pressure for hot water on a morning was very poor in the kitchen. We noticed this when attempting to wash the pots a couple of mornings, and it was only a trickle. It seemed to improve as the day progressed. Good points; the whole site is located just off the A1 and is a good location to be able to drive to venues/activities/locations. It is very quiet with wildlife around the area- we saw lots of birds and deer. Jessie's Corner is in a nice central location on site (across a green area from the main reception/crazy horse saloon) of only 3 lodges. There is good parking outside of the lodge. It's has the majority of what you would need for a quiet, low key stay. The decor and furniture were well thought out. The hot tub is private and not overlooked. There were some good family games provided and the main living area is spacious. The dishwasher was useful and we were provided with a couple of dishwasher tablets. The fridge freezer was great- and the availability of ice was welcome. The WiFi was generally operational. The sofa were comfortable and blankets useful for chillier evenings. Plenty of cushions on the sofas/chairs in the living area. Overall we enjoyed our stay at Jessie's corner and would consider returning in future if the above improvement suggestions were considered and implemented- the hot tub points especially. It is quite disappointing not to be able to use the hot tub throughout your stay though basic cleanliness, when you have booked and paid for the provision. The gift of prosecco and popcorn on arrival was a nice suprise and a lovely gesture!

Hemera Holidays have a user friendly booking system & excellent customer service. This was our first time booking with them & our first visit to Fellmoor. Jessie's corner was just perfect, set on Fellmoor Country Park in tranquil surroundings but close to the gorgeous Northumberland coast, Amble, Alnwick & so many other lovely places to visit. The log cabin is comfortable, clean & well maintained. The beds are comfortable & the kitchen is well equipped. The decking on the cabin is fully enclosed enabling holiday makers the opportunity to relax while their dogs have some freedom. Jessie's corner is in a perfect spot, standing in a row of just 3 cabins, the front looks onto an open grassed area & the rear is set onto a wooded area which has a dog walking area. The hot tub is fab & completely private as it is at the rear of the cabin with an enclosed fence around it & surrounded by trees. There are lovely walks in the area, an on site lake & play area for kids, an onsite resteraunt serving delicious food which also has a games room. Just down the road (1 mile) is Northumberland Zoo, we spent a day there looking at an array of animals - great day out. Fellmoor is super dog friendly & perfect for a holiday with your fur baby. We loved Jessie's corner & will definitely be back soon.

Had a great 4 days here in November. Lodge was spotlessly clean and had the added touch of the Christmas decorations being up. Hot tub in brilliant location just outside double doors , so can make quick dash back in on those cold nights. Great value for money . Highly recommend.

One of the best lodges Ive stayed in, private, cosy, clean, modern. Even welcomed with a bottle of Prosecco, cookies and crisps. Literally not one fault with this lodge, opposite the bar as well which is always handy. Had a nice meal out as well at the bar couldnt fault it. The customer service at Hemera was brilliant as well, Id left something pretty important at the lodge and Louise couldnt have been more helpful in getting it back. Would definitely recommend.

Jessie's Corner is a lovely lodge with everything you need for a break away. Accommodation was spotless and we were thrilled with the welcome bubbles, crisps and doughnuts. A thoughtful touch. Hot tub was perfect and decking private. Union Jack bunting on the decking for the Platinum Jubilee weekend was another nice addition. JC is located on Felmoor Holiday Park, a short walk from the site's pub and even though just off A1, it was so quiet. Loved hearing the wildlife. Pub had a singer on Friday but nearing 10pm, all went quiet. I would certainly head back there again.
